Marianna Shteingold holds Bachelor's degrees in music education, piano performance, accompanying, and chamber music from both the Kyiv State College of Music in Ukraine and the Jerusalem Academy of Music and Dance in Israel. Also, she studied voice as a secondary major at Jerusalem Academy of Music. Since arriving in the US, Ms.Shteingold has completed a Masters's Degree in piano, organ, and harpsichord studies at Northern Illinois University.
In the fall of 2006, she joined our faculty at Rhythm of Learning Music School. She has worked in the Chicago area as a church organist and accompanist for a wide variety of choirs, singers, and instrumentalists at DePaul University, University of Chicago, Northern Illinois University, and as a voice department accompanist and coach at Northwestern University. Since 2003 Ms. Shteingold maintains an active private studio in Buffalo Grove.
She teaches group music lessons, music theory, individual piano, voice lessons, and guitar, ear training, sight-reading, harmony, and solfeggio singing. Her teaching methods are individualized for each student based on age, personal goals, and music style preferences.
